Amy Adams can make herself cry over just about anything—even sriracha.
Adams revealed her special acting talent to Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show” last Friday. She discussed her daughter Aviana’s curiosity about Adams’ line of work.
“She likes when I make myself cry,” Adams said. “So she asked if I could make myself cry and I said, ‘Well, I need a story, so give me a story.’ ”
Knowing Adams’ love for hot sauce she asked the actor to cry over sriracha.
The five-time Oscar nominated actor proceeded to give Fallon a hint of her abilities.
“I really like sriracha, and I don’t know if you heard, but they were thinking of closing the plant,” Adams said with tears in her eyes. “There’s fumes in the air and they want to close the sriracha plant.”
Adams said Aviana is too young to watch her films, but she has seen her as Princess Giselle in “Enchanted.”
“I think she likes to make fun of me,” Adams said jokingly. “She thinks my job is funny.”
Adams currently stars as Lois Lane in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” out in theaters now.
