How do I sign my child up for Backstage?

Parents and legal guardians of children under the age of 16 can create an account to manage their child’s Backstage Actor Profile.

Only a child’s parent or legal guardian can create an account on Backstage. Parents and guardians must use their own name, credit card, and email address when creating the account.

When creating their child’s Acting Profile, Parents and legal guardians will be asked to affirm that they are the parent or guardian of the child whose Actor Profile is being created, and that they consent to the child’s information being posted in a Backstage Actor Profile. The parent or legal guardian may be asked to verify their identity, by scanning and uploading a valid identification document, such as a driver’s license.

Protecting your information is very important to us. Any documents you give us are stored and transmitted securely, encrypted, and kept private.

Parents and legal guardians are solely responsible for submitting their children to casting opportunities on Backstage, and for reviewing any notifications, messages, invitations, or job opportunities sent to their account on behalf of their child.
