She was nominated for a Tony Award for Excellence in Theatre Education in 2015, holds an MFA in Theatre Performance Pedagogy, and has studied with notable acting teachers in NY and L.A. As a working actor in film, TV, and national commercials, Watt is a member of SAG-AFTRA and a past member of Actors Equity Association (AEA), as well as a SAG-AFTRA signatory producer and director. Watt has produced the educational DVD, "The Method as based on Stanislavski and Strasberg" with Shelley Winters, Martin Landau, and Cloris Leachman and recently wrote a "The Actor's Manifesto: Create a Successful Acting Career" that can be used as an encyclopedia or "how to" for the professional and beginning actor. Her curriculum includes techniques of Stanislavski, Strasberg, Adler, Meisner, Hagen, and her own.
