Berland's on-camera technique workshop uses techniques to increase call backs, agent signings, and bookings. It is designed to enable talent to give the small commercial space multiple dimensions. The technique reveals depth and layers of the talent’s personality in fewer than 30 seconds. Berland’s technique is based on fundamental acting techniques that make up bookable theatrical short scenes. The end result is a performance that is connected and real, as opposed to a sell. Berland is a Clio Award-winning casting director who has been casting commercials for more than 25 years, co-author of “Breaking Into Commercials” and is called on nationally to teach commercial acting techniques in a weekend format.
