Class Details

Saturday Performance Training Program for teenagers ages 12-18. 15-18 students per class. All levels. Auditing not permitted. Sessions on Saturdays, October–May. Offers work-study program.

A division of Amas Musical Theatre, the Academy is a pre-professional musical performance and training program that enrolls up to 35 culturally and economically diverse young people between the ages of 12-18 in Saturday classes in singing, dancing, and acting from October to May. Other specialties include singing and dance, clowning, make-up, and stage fighting. The program culminates with a fully produced Off-Broadway musical that runs for two weekends in May.
