William Alderson was trained as an actor and teacher by Sanford Meisner and worked as Mr. Meisners principal assistant at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in NYC for over twenty years. Alderson has been training actors for more than 30 years. Studio believes the goal of any teacher is to bring the actor securely back to himself, which is the design of the Meisner Technique, which is based on the reality of doing. The school offers the two-year Meisner Technique course of study, as well as a master class for those who have previously completed the two-year program.
