Submission Policy:

Festival Season: Spring (usually late March)

Deadline: November (see website for exact dates)

Entry: $45 for features. $35 for shorts. $5 discount for students. Also accepts puppetry, TV and episodic pilots, feature and episodic pilot screenplays, animation, and food films.

The area’s preeminent celebration of cinema. One of only two dozen Academy Award-qualifying events in the country, the Atlanta Film Festival showcases over 200 films annually to 25,000 attendees across a ten day event each spring. Each year, the Atlanta Film Festival receives nearly 5,000 submissions from 120 countries across the globe. 

One of the oldest and largest organizations dedicated to the promotion and education of film in the United States. Enriching the community through screenings, classes, workshops and other events year-round, the ATLFS is a membership-based 501(c)(3) arts non-profit.
