The Festival is dedicated to the creation of opportunities for artistic interaction and exchange among independent filmmakers, directors, producers and the film-going public. It's mission is to discover the new voices of independent film. RIIFF is an Academy Award and BAFTA-qualifying event in the live action, animation, and documentary short divisions.
