Comments:

Starry Night Entertainment was a bi-coastal production company with interests in theatre, television, and film that applied an innovative Wall Street model to traditional entertainment platforms, deploying special purpose investing vehicles across all media to bridge art and commerce in new, innovative ways. Recently, founders Michael Shulman and Craig Saavedra decided to dissolve their 15 year partnership (but not their decades-long friendship) and pursue new ventures independently. Shulman now produces under his Sand And Snow Entertainment and Saavedra under his Saavedillo, INC.

Sherman's Way marked the company's feature film debut, while J.T. Rogers's "White People" at the Atlantic Theatre Company represented its first foray into New York theatre. Starry Night has since produced and/or been a major investor in the Broadway and West End productions of such shows as The Ferryman (winner, Tony Award best play), Hamilton, Photograph 51 (Nicole Kidman), Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Liev Schreiber), Hedwig And The Angry Inch (Neil Patrick Harris, Darren Criss), Henry V (Jude Law), Peter And Alice (Judi Dench), The Elephant Man (Bradley Cooper), The Cripple Of Inishmaan (Daniel Radcliffe), After Midnight, The Last Ship (Sting) and Mistakes Were Made (Michael Shannon) at Off-Broadway's Barrow Street Theatre. Recent television projects include the unscripted series Tibor To The Rescue.
