Camp Reel Stories is a nonprofit organization that believes when women and girls are better represented behind the scenes in the media, they will be better reflected on the screen. Organization empowers 13-18 year old young women with the skills to create their own media, view current media critically and thoughtfully, and to aspire to lead in their field. Offers women of all ages the opportunity to learn how to make films and tell their stories. This is done through workshops and camps aimed at teaching women and girls how to make movies in the new digital era. By working in small, collaborative groups, the camp gives campers the opportunity to make and broadcast their own short films.
