Independent Shakespeare Co. is best known for presenting the Griffith Park Free Shakespeare Festival, an annual event that has grown to become a tradition for tens of thousands of Angelenos, bringing together a diverse, vibrant community through accessible, imaginative performances of classical plays and events. ISC also operates an indoor, intimate performance space. ISC Studio presents new plays that expose people to history and experimental productions of classical plays. The ISC Studio is active and unpredictable, serving as a multi-purpose and multi-disciplinary laboratory.
