North Coast Repertory Theatre holds an Equity Principal Audition for each season once a year. Check the Actor’s Equity Website for audition calls, or follow North Coast Repertory Theatre on Facebook or Twitter.
North Coast Repertory Theatre accepts photos and resumes for casting files. Submit by email with subject line “Casting.”
New Play Submission:
Before submitting check North Coast Repertory Theatre’s catalogue of work to make sure submissions are relevant. Plays must have no more than eight characters. Currently not considering one act plays. Submit a cover letter noting why North Coast Repertory was chosen and what is it about the theatre that would be a good home for the play (maximum of 100 words), along with a synopsis of the play (200 word maximum), and a writing sample of the new play.
Playwrights: upload a title page, a full cast list that includes each character’s name, age, and brief description, and ten consecutive pages, in PDF, from the full play. Title pages and cast breakdowns don’t count towards the page count.
Composers and librettists: Upload a title page, a full cast list that includes each character’s name, age, and brief description, and up to three musical tracks (rough demos are welcome) and accompanying lyrics, in PDF. Upload surrounding dialogue for one of those tracks (up to ten consecutive pages, in PDF). Title pages and cast breakdowns don’t count towards the page count.
