Submission Policy:
Philadelphia Theatre Company casts on a per-show basis. Auditions are held in Philadelphia and New York. Audition notices are posted on the theater's website, on PTC’s casting hotline (215-985-1400, Ext. 305), Philadelphia AEA hotline, the Theatre Alliance website, and elsewhere. To submit or update a current file send a hard copy of headshot/resume via mail. No phone calls or email submissions.
Script Submissions:
In an attempt to be more earth-friendly, our Literary Office will only accept script submissions electronically via email. Please send to literary@philadelphiatheatrecompany.org. Please do not send hard copies. All acknowledgments and responses will be sent through the Literary email address. Due to the increasingly high number of scripts received and the limitations of staffing, we are unable to accept unsolicited scripts or inquiries. Please submit scripts via agents only. We cannot accept letters of inquiry, summaries, or page excerpts.
In support of regional playwrights, PTC does accept scripts from Philadelphia and Delaware Valley playwrights directly. Please email your submission to the above address.
