“IN KEATON’S LEMON GARDEN”
Temple University is seeking talent for “In Keaton’s Lemon Garden,” a short film about a young female political target who attempts to flee to Italy during the 1979 Iranian Revolution. A Middle Eastern female actor, aged 18–28, is wanted to play the lead role of Leila. There is also an additional lead role for a male actor, aged 22–32, and two supporting roles as guards for male talent, aged 38–52. Lead talent must be comfortable with a short scene of kissing, FX makeup, a short underwear scene (lead female), and short fight scenes. Auditions will take place on Jan. 25–27 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Filming will take place from March 3–9 in Amalfi, Italy. This is an unpaid gig, but travel, meals, and lodging will be provided. GERMAN-ACCENTED VO, ENGLISH VIDEO GAME
Voice artists are currently wanted for an English-language video game project recording at Pinewood Studios. Four actors, aged 7–30, are wanted for lead and supporting roles in the project. Vulcan Theatre Company is currently accepting new one-act play submissions, actors, and directors worldwide for the company’s second installment of “Forge Night,” a one-night staged performance of new short plays. Talent, aged 18 and older, is wanted to be the evening’s performers and directors. Plays will rehearse independently and be performed on one night in April at Access Theater’s Gallery Space in New York City. A $30 participation fee will be required if accepted.
