
Hello and welcome to one of our shoutouts for projects casting around the UK. As always, there’s a mix of opportunities for all ages, abilities, and locations, but do remember to check if you fit the bill before applying. The Lion King
Disney’s hit production of The Lion King is casting for exceptional male and female singers and dancers for a UK touring production. Here’s the breakdown:
Singers must be 18 or over, of any ethnicity, with strong soulful/gospel-type voices and good movement skills.
Dancers must be 18 or over, of any ethnicity and with a modern dance background. The team states that acrobatic skills are a major plus.
Contracts are for a one-year fixed term, with rehearsals starting in July and performances beginning in September. Roles are paid at Equity rates.
The team are holding auditions at Pineapple studios in London on 21 January and at Studio 25 in Manchester on 28 January.
