Different nationalities needed for Gangs of London
We put out a call for Sky Atlantic/AMC’s London gangland-set hit series last month, but Gangs of London are this week casting a new set of roles, to be shot between mid July and November 2021 in and around London. Background male and female artists over 17 are needed from a host of nationalities, including Polish, Bengali, Irish, Turkish, Iranian, Vietnamese, Algerian, Syrian, and more. Docudrama casting for ZZ Top lookalikes
ITV’s Breaking the Band is shooting an episode on legendary rockers ZZ Top for Reelz USA, with the team looking for lookalikes to play band members. Billy Gibbons is male, playing-age 21–41, and white. You’ll need brown hair, a brown beard or long stubble, some basic guitar skills, and the confidence to play a frontman/vocalist. Frank Beard is male, playing-age 21–41, and white. The team are seeking someone clean-shaven or with a moustache, slim build and ideally with drumming experience. The docudrama shoots for 1.5 days in London between 19–23 July. Roles are paid £400 per full day and you’ll need a COVID Declaration of Health form during the audition stage. Commercial casting for families with babies
A casting director is looking for three families for a Water Wipes commercial, and is seeking specific breakdowns of performers to shoot in their own homes. The ad needs one same-sex female couple, a mixed-sex couple with a woman who wears a Hijab, and a mixed or same sex couple who are Black, Asian, or another non-white ethnicity. A casting director is working on a holiday brand film shooting in Cornwall this month, and is seeking performers of any gender, 50+, to play professional work colleagues and friends. The Colour House Theatre is casting for a production of Hansel and Gretel, rehearsing from late August to early September and opening in the autumn. The show will perform three times a day, and the team are seeking strong singers, dancers, and those who enjoy playing comic roles and building a rapport with the audience. Lead role Hansel is any gender, playing-age 18–26, and white. Lead role Gretel is female, playing-age 18–25, and any ethnicity. With/Mother/Pegion is female, playing-age 24–54, and any ethnicity.
