A series of BBC comedy skits featuring a well-known TikTok star are seeking supporting performers to play opposite the lead in a number of scenarios. Offensive Man is male, playing ages 18–35, and any ethnicity. He gets in trouble for staring at the protagonist, who has achondroplasia. Tall Man is male, playing ages 21–35, and any ethnicity. At least 6’ tall, he meets the protagonist for a date and makes offensive comments about her height. Female shop assistant has a playing age of 18–40 and is any ethnicity. She mistakenly directs the protagonist to the children’s section in a clothing shop. Male PE teacher has a playing age of 45–70 and is of any ethnicity. He’s awkward and flustered at teaching a school sex-ed class. The skits shoot throughout the week commencing 8 March around Dalston, London. Roles are paid professionally. Promo casting for edgy female performer
Casting director Tree Petts is casting a promo for a new piece of production technology and seeking a female performer with plenty of stage presence to show off its capabilities. Phoenix Jackson is female, playing age 25–35, and of any ethnicity. A cyberpunk PI, she moves around the edges of society and is confident, striking, and has strength, mystery, and a bold sense of style rather than being stereotypically sexy. The role isn’t a straightforward acting job as it will require performing intensity and moods for specific shots. The project shoots 18–19 March in London and pays a total of £1,075. Feature film casting female role
A feature-length medieval fantasy film is seeking a female comic actor. Maise is female, playing ages 18–30, and any ethnicity – a “downtrodden beauty with a heart of gold.” The film shoots in the summer of 2022 (TBC) and the role is paid £1,000 per day plus ADR and pickups. An investigative journalist, he’s a specialist in white-collar crime and a confidant for the lead character. Dr Fairchild is female, playing age 40–65, and of any ethnicity; she’s a therapist with an odd sense of humour. Karli is female, playing age 20–35, and of any ethnicity. Sharp and confident, she’s a high-class sugar baby who looks after other sex workers. Roles are paid £150 per day, actors must be able to travel to shoot locations in London and the team are seeking performers based in London.
