London’s Windmill Theatre is seeking performers, creatives, and crew for the launch of an immersive experience at the iconic Soho venue. The team are seeking dancers, all genders, 18+, and all ethnicities. You’ll need to be charismatic, experienced, trained in classical and contemporary dance, able to pick up choreography quickly, and ready to be part of a diverse and gender-inclusive troupe. You’ll also need to be comfortable dancing in heels in a variety of costumes and with partial nudity for five shows a week. The team also seek Compères: all genders, aged 18+, and all ethnicities – people with strong improvisational skills who are confident holding a room. Also needed are Multi Skilled Actors: all genders, all ethnicities, trained in acting/performance with good improvisation and musical abilities; and Variety Performers: highly skilled variety performers “to bring something unique to our dinner show.” The project rehearses early February, opening in March (TBC). Co-lead Sukh is male, 18–30, and a Punjabi speaker – an ambitious graduate from a successful family in the Punjab. Several further male and female roles are available. Lead Coleman is male, playing age 55–70, and white. Once charismatic and hopeful, he’s now closed off, cynical, and detached. Lucy is female, playing age 55–65, and white. She’s an intelligent woman who marries Coleman for love but grows more distant from him. Dying of the flu, she faces it with courage. Policeman Extra is male, playing age 26–44, and any ethnicity.
