These screen, stage, and voice projects are casting for actors and talent in the UK right now, so sharpen your self-taping and audition skills and get busy. 

Music video casting for host of London actors
London-based actors are needed to feature in music artist Obongjayar’s upcoming video. The piece will be moody, dark, and violent in parts, though not graphic, and the team are seeking performers who aren’t afraid to let themselves go in a role. Lead X is male, playing-age 35–42, and any ethnicity. Confident, wealthy, and narcissistic, he’s a villain inspired by Tom Cruise in Collateral (role involves having a haircut or bleached hair). The video also needs female, transgender, and non-binary performers, playing-age 25–45, and any ethnicity, to play a group of people partying. These characters are not clichéd “arm candy” – they’re sophisticated and demure. Waiter is male, playing-age 18–28, and South Asian. Cronies are male or non-binary, playing-age 30–47, and any ethnicity. They’re rude, smug, and follow X around. The project shoots 19 July, and roles are paid. Corporate film casting for male leads
A production house is casting two male actors based anywhere in the UK for a corporate film and stills campaign. Patient 1 is playing-age 50–65 and white Mediterranean – someone with a “fuller figure” as the character has diabetes. Patient 2 is playing-age 50–65 and South Asian. New musical casting supporting female
A production at Goldsmiths, University of London, is casting for a supporting female role. Telling the story of a man who ran away to the circus and is now trying to come home, Tears of Laughter is written by MA Musical Theatre students. Supporting role Lilly is female, playing-age 25–53, and Black or mixed race. The team are seeking a mezzo/belt with comedy experience. The show runs 14–18 September at the Tristan Bates Theatre, with flexible rehearsals in August. Roles are paid a small stipend and the casting is open to performers based in London. Feature comedy film casting supporting roles
The feature adaptation of hit Fringe show Harvey Greenfield Is Running Late is casting supporting roles ahead of shooting this August. Mother is female, playing-age 55–80, and white. She’s dependent on her son Harvey and emotionally blackmails him. Surly Neighbourhood Watch member Adrian is male, playing-age 40–65, and any ethnicity. Compassionate “good egg” Sarah is female, playing-age 25–35, and any ethnicity. Charity Worker is any gender, playing-age 20–55, and any ethnicity. Angry Parent is male, playing-age 35–55, and any ethnicity. Shooting takes place from 9–23 August and roles are paid £80–£150, plus travel.
