Video game casting for real people’s likenesses
Casting director Camilla Arthur is seeking real people to have their likenesses scanned for video game characters. You’ll go into a scanning booth and the process doesn’t take long. The team are seeking a Middle Eastern male and female, aged 18+; an indigenous Mexican male and female, aged 18+; and a Mexican male and female, playing age 18+. Sitcom casting lead and supporting roles
Workplace sitcom Call Assistants follows a bunch of dysfunctional call handlers working for a clothing company. Filmed via Zoom, the show is casting a host of roles. Lead Kelly Yu is female, playing age 18–45, and South Asian. She’s a “mean and unlikable boss” who only cares about her luxurious lifestyle, and is a character you love to hate. Patrick is male, 30–50, and white. A loveable oddball, he calls his moustache “Harold” and is painfully single. Louise is female, 23–35, and Black. She’s funny, independent, and happily married to her wife of two years. Several more male and female roles with a wide range of ages are being cast. Indie film casting female lead
Indie filmmaker Hugo Johnson-Driscoll is casting for short film Last Dream, exploring the barbarity of a last meal before execution in America’s prisons. Candy is female, playing age 18–35, and white. She’s ethereal but bold, with daring and spine-chilling dialogue, and can have either an American or British accent. The project also requires a voiceover performer who can portray an American news anchor, mother, and police chief. The project shoots TBD in Essex and roles are paid £100, plus travel expenses. Fashion brand Becca London is casting for a spring collection photoshoot in London, happening later this month. The project requires two London females, playing ages 18–35 and any ethnicity, one of whom is size 8 and the other size 10.
