Poldark
Things are looking grim on the set of BBC1’s Poldark, currently shooting in London. Metro and Splash captured some shots of star Aidan Turner and his fellow co-stars decked out in period clothes while an unknown new character prepares for his turn in the gallows.
The series begins with Ross Poldark, played by Turner, returning home after the American Revolutionary War to rebuild his life. The fifth and final series of Poldark will be set in 1800–1810 and follow the lives of the Poldarks, George Warleggan, the Enyses and the Carnes during the gap years of the novels the series is based on.
A release date for Series 5 has yet to be announced, and there should still be quite a bit of filming to do. Susie Parriss is in charge of the casting.
