Matilda
The big-screen adaptation of stage musical Matilda, itself based on Roald Dahl’s book about a lonely girl with magical powers, is gearing up for production later this year. With music and lyrics by Tim Minchin, the feature is directed by Matthew Warchus, who first brought it to life at the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) in 2010. Casting director Lucy Bevan is confirmed to be attached and casting now, including for the lead role of Matilda.
