These screen, stage, and voice projects need talent in the UK right now, so sharpen your self-taping and audition skills and get busy. 

Urgent: Comic shorts casting male, female and child role
The Birdhouse Studio is seeking a group of people, of all ethnicities, backgrounds and body types, for a shoot this month. The project requires performers with great comic timing and improv abilities. The team are casting lead roles Females Mid 20s/Mid 30s, playing age 25–35 and any ethnicity – natural-looking, “not a model,” stylish, modern, down to earth, and hip. The team also want lead roles Males Mid 20s/Mid 30s, as above, though “a bit rugged.” There’s also a child role, playing ages 2–5, “mischievous, easily distracted.” The project shoots for one day between 11–18 December in Kent and London, and roles are paid £300–£500 per day plus usage. Casting Sinatra and co lookalikes for docudrama
ITV’s Autopsy medical docudrama series is seeking actors with a strong resemblance to Frank Sinatra. Lead role Young Frank Sinatra is male, playing ages 40–50, and white with brown hair, blue eyes, and a height of around 5’7”. Elder Frank Sinatra is male, playing ages 70–82, and white, with grey hair and a suave, sometimes brusque, manner. Both roles require smoking herbal cigarettes. Barbara Sinatra is female, playing ages 70–71, and white, with short blonde hair. She’s calm, poised, and glamorous. Tony Oppedisano is male, playing ages 45–46 and white. He’s courteous, friendly, and loyal. The project shoots for 1–2 days between 15–18 December in London and roles are paid between £250–£400 per day. Rush-casting female presenter
A financial education company for women is rush-casting a webinar presenter, to work over two days in Canary Wharf, London. Presenters should be playing ages 30–55, south Asian, Indian, or white European. You’ll be reading from a teleprompter, but personality and energy are key to the role. The project is at Charrington Tower, Canary Wharf and is paid £350 for both days, from 2pm to 8pm, plus travel and food expenses. The team are seeking performers based in or near London. Seeking male actor for humorous promo video
Production company Origins of Motion and casting director Daniela Ulloa are seeking a male performer for a to-camera promotional video. The role is for a male, playing ages 30–40, and any ethnicity. He’s a floor fitter who’s relatable, cheeky, energetic, and funny. The script is humorous, but draws attention to new flooring products. They are looking for a natural performer to play an everyday character. The piece shoots over two days in late December, exact details TBC, and the role is paid £300 per day.
