The following UK projects are now visible on the horizon, whether in development or actively casting. Keep these leads on your radar and your eyes open for the opportunity to land an audition.

All the Light We Cannot See
Netflix’s big-budget TV mini-series, which tells the story of a blind French teenager and a German soldier whose paths collide during World War II, is filming next year. It’s written by Steven Knight (Locke) after the Pulitzer-winning novel of the same name by Anthony Doerr. Stranger Things director Shawn Levy is attached, as is casting director Lucy Bevan. Check out the casting notice for the lead character of Marie-Laure.

Bank of Dave
St. Trinian’s writer Piers Ashworth is working on the feature film Bank of Dave. The plot is under wraps, but it’s likely about the real story of Burnley Savings and Loans, a bank set up by self-made millionaire David Fishwick. The project is set to film in 2022, and casting director Fiona Weir is now on board.

A God Amongst Men
A feature based on the story of legendary boxer Muhammad Ali’s visit to Tyneside in 1977 is filming next year. It's written and directed by D. James Newton, and casting director Michelle Smith is now attached.
