Commercial seeking London-based teenagers
Revolver Casting’s Wayne Waterson is seeking a diverse range of 16–18 year olds, any gender, for a commercial. The project needs five teenagers who are bright, with their own sense of style, a bit of swagger, and an everyday, real feel about them. The team are especially keen to hear from people with disabilities. The project shoots in London for one day between 22–25 January, and roles are paid a fee of £300, plus a £700 buyout. Funny music video in London
A music video for young band The Flitz is seeking a cast of women to play the mums of the band, as the only people to turn up to one of their gigs. This comic and self-deprecating music video needs women, playing age 50+, and any ethnicity. Someone who can ‘mum dance’ to the music. They’re also seeking a performer of any gender, playing age 27–50, and any ethnicity, to play a security guard. Ideally someone who looks built for security and owns a black suit. Speaking roles in feature film
Groucho Arts film Tales of Babylon is a London-set action thriller in the style of the Coen Brothers and Tarantino, exploring the lives of mob hitmen with hints of dark comedy. The project is seeking day players of any gender, playing ages 23–60, and any ethnicity, for shoots throughout April in London. All roles have dialogue and will mean 1–3 days of filming. Student film casting for LGBTQ+ story
Student short The Roof explores the relationship between two brothers. Adil is male, playing age 26–32, and of Middle Eastern ethnicity. Kai is male, playing age 30–34, and of Middle Eastern ethnicity. The role of Landlord is any gender, playing age 50–60, and any ethnicity.
