Short film casting in London

Director Elias Avramidis is casting a short film set on the London Underground, shooting soon. Lead role Laura is female, playing age 18–28, and white. A young street homeless woman who is led to homelessness by philosophy. Co-lead Mark is male, playing age 35–60, and Black. A criminal psychologist who tries to question Laura’s reasons for becoming street homeless. Roles are paid £100–£120 per day, plus travel expenses.

Horror seeking female lead 

A graduate short from students at Central Film School explores an alluring new chocolate bar which deludes the eater into consuming themselves. The project is casting for lead role Brittany; playing age 21–29, and non-white. The role requires a performer able to convey everything without dialogue. Filming is 17–19 May in West London and is paid £60–80 per day, plus food and travel.

Supporting role in sci-fi short

A short black and white film based on H.P. Lovecraft’s short story The Colour out of Space is casting for a male or female, playing age 40–65, and any ethnicity. The performer will take on the role of Phil or Norma, a friend and mentor to the lead character. The role requires a midcentury East Coast American accent. Shooting is over two days in June in Beaconsfield. Roles are paid £147 per day and the team are seeking performers based in London.

Art film casting 

A Royal College of Art film is casting for a performer of any gender and any ethnicity to play traditional games in a participatory project exploring how performers can create symbols while concealing their identities on film. Performers must be aged 18+. The shoot takes two hours and is paid.
