Trapped – a short film to be shot from home
This thriller/mystery film is casting lead and supports, to be shot entirely online. It follows a man waking up in a room, “with no way out, no memories of what happened and solely one item at his use – a laptop.” The (unnamed) lead role is male, 18+, of any ethnicity. He “must be able to hold attention for lengthy periods of time,” as most of the film will follow his interactions via webcam. Three supporting roles are also being cast, for male and female actors of varying ages. The team is searching for talent worldwide. With a deadline of 31 March, video production company Lab Class is casting for a VO artist with home recording capabilities for an animation film. The team is casting for a female actor, 25–50, with clear speech and a “neutral British accent.” The tone they’d like to achieve is calm soothing, and informative. The job pays £150.
