Star Wars: Andor
Coming soon in a galaxy far, far away, the Star Wars series Andor is deep into production in the UK. The upcoming prequel series has reportedly been filming since November, but now, new aerial photos of the set in Buckinghamshire are giving fans a small peek at what to expect. As previously reported, Andor will be set five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and will follow rebel spy Cassian Andor (played by Diego Luna), one of the rebels instrumental in obtaining the Death Star plans used to destroy the station in the original Star Wars trilogy.
BBC Thriller ‘The Capture’ 2 + More UK TV Series are Greenlit and Casting Rogue One co-writer Tony Gilroy is the series creator, and starring with Luna will be Stellan Skarsgård, Kyle Soller, Genevieve O’Reilly, Denise Gough, and Fiona Shaw. Production on Andor has been delayed several times due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, with its initial 2021 release date being pushed back to 2022. It will premiere exclusively on Disney+.
