A US digital marketing campaign is casting Real Social, an ad for a social media company. The piece showcases the people who use and share on social media, chronicling the “story behind the story.” The team are seeking genuine social media stars, playing age 15–30, any gender and ethnicity, to shoot a video Q&A with fun improv answers. The gig is work-from-home via smartphone and the role pays $1,000 for a one-day virtual shoot. The team are seeking influencers in the UK and elsewhere. Casting voice performer for French sci-fi series
French science fiction series Runaway is casting a day-player voiceover role for a pilot. The team are seeking a female performer, playing age 18–35 and any ethnicity, to play Nana, a woman who speaks to the main character on the phone for a few sentences. An untitled project looking into the lives of competitive jump ropers (aka skipping ropes) is casting for real people who have competed in jumping ropes. International feature film Nobody Knows Me is casting for a virtual table read over Zoom. The team are seeking performers based anywhere in the world, with a mixture of accents. Narrator is any gender or ethnicity, lead male Dean is white or mixed race and has a playing age of 30–40, American with a southern drawl. Mike is male, playing age 55–65 and white or mixed race. A revered American TV journalist, he’s self-assured, aggressive, and smart. Fensch is male, playing age 50–65, and white or mixed race, with a native German accent.
