U.K. Casting: A BBC3 Comedy Pilot Is Seeking BAME Welsh Actors

Hello and welcome to one of our shoutouts for projects casting around the U.K. As always there’s a mix of opportunities for all ages, abilities, and locations but do remember to check if you fit the bill before applying. BBC3 Pilot

“W1A” and “Black Mirror” casting director Rachel Sheridan is on the hunt for young, BAME talent from Wales for a new BBC3 pilot.

Male and female talent that is Asian, South Asian, Middle Eastern, ethnically ambiguous or mixed race, or of African Descent, aged 23 and younger, that can play 16 years old is wanted for the pilot. Talent should have great comic instincts. No acting experience is necessary. Talent needs to be from Wales originally, but not necessarily based in Wales now.

The pilot shoots in Cardiff from Sept. 3-8 with rehearsals during the last week of August. Roles are paid in line with Pact Equity contracts.
