Hello and welcome to one of our shoutouts for projects casting around the UK. As always, there’s a mix of opportunities for all ages, abilities, and locations, but do remember to check if you fit the bill before applying. Clay
Student short film Clay is a black comedy following an escaped convict called Brian who orphans a child during a home invasion gone wrong, then tries to pretend to be his grandfather and raise the child. Here’s a breakdown of the roles:
Brian is for a white male actor with a playing age of 45–55. He’s dishonest, stern and a narcissist.
Supporting role Park Ranger is for a white male actor with a playing age of 30–40. Overly friendly and enthusiastic, he also has a power complex.
Clay rehearses and shoots 18–24 February in Cornwall and Falmouth. Roles are paid £60 per day, with food and drink provided. The team are looking for local talent from Cornwall and Devon.
