“No Ordinary Sundae”

MA showcase film “No Ordinary Sundae” follows two very different characters selling ice cream as a turf war erupts. The team is filling the two lead roles.

Bertie has been in the game for more than two decades. He’s an ice cream man with plenty of experience but who’s seen better days. Still, he’s not going to take this one lying down. Bertie will be played by a male actor, aged 50–75.

Summer might have the perfect name to sell ice cream but she’s new to the business. Excited for her first day on the job in a sparkling new van, she meets Bertie and they have a showdown. Summer will be played by a female actor, aged 19–35.

Rehearsals take place in London and Brighton, U.K. and the film shoots on April 16 and 17. Pay is currently TBD.

Take a look at the additional materials for a draft of the script and apply here before the April 13 deadline.
