Alex Rider – Point Blank
Back in the summer Variety reported that BAFTA award-winning screenwriter Guy Burt (The Borgias, Wire in the Blood) has adapted Anthony Horowitz’s 2001 teen spy novel Point Blanc for TV under the name Point Blank. The production is now gearing up to shoot, with Austrian thriller director Andreas Prochaska on board for all eight episodes. The second of the Alex Rider series of novels, Point Blank will follow on from the origins story of the reluctant teen spy as played out in Stormbreaker, adapted for the big screen in 2006. Filming begins in March 2019, with casting director Gary Davy attached.

The Lost Episodes
Recreating three episodes of classic British sitcom Dad’s Army that haven’t been seen since they were first broadcast in 1969, The Lost Episodes is an exercise in nostalgia, posterity and much-loved catchphrases. Carefully re-shot with a cast that includes Kevin McNally and Robert Bathurst as Captain Mainwaring and Sergeant Wilson, alongside Bernard Cribbins as Private Godfrey, the three lost episodes are filming in Pinewood Studios from the end of February next year. Casting director Catherine Willis is attached.

47 Meters Down: The Next Chapter
From Sharknado to Jaws, every shark movie needs a sequel – and 2017 film 47 Meters Down is no different. The fast-paced action thriller saw two holiday-makers trapped in a diving cage, battling dwindling oxygen supplies and circling great whites. The second instalment is shooting in the UK and Dominican Republic for two months from December, with casting director Colin Jones attached.
