Cormoran Strike
The war veteran turned Soho sleuth is back for a fourth instalment, shooting next year. Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger are set to return to J.K. Rowling’s own adaptations of her Robert Galbraith novels. The new series will be based on the latest book, Lethal White, just published in the U.K. and already number one on the bestseller lists – boding well for the new series. Casting director Shaheen Baig returns also, casting all four episodes now.

Gangs of London
Vice-backed Pulse Films is gearing up to shoot their first high-end drama and has bagged director Colin Hardy, fresh from success with The Nun. Given the working title Gangs of London, the Sky drama is created by Gareth Evans and Matt Flannery, the duo behind the popular Raid movie franchise, and follows rival international gangs battling for control of the British capital’s criminal underworld. Hardy said: “The multi-layered story weaves emotional drama with blistering action set pieces which I found enthralling to read. I am looking forward to bringing something rich and cinematic to the city streets.” Shooting is to begin 26 November for six months, with casting by Kelly Valentine Hendry (KVH Casting).

The Split
Series two of the Abi Morgan’s original drama The Split is set to shoot in March 2019. Based in the fast-paced world of London’s divorce law circuit, series one introduced audiences to the Defoe family and explored modern marriage and divorce. Starring Nicola Walker (River, Last Tango In Halifax), Meera Syal (Goodness Gracious Me) and Stephen Mangan (Green Wing, Episodes), series two will see the main cast return, alongside new characters. Casting is by Victor Jenkins and Beverley Keogh.
