“Keeping Faith/Un Bore Mercher 2”
Surprise hit series “Keeping Faith/Un Bore Mercher” is returning for a second series, co-produced by S4C and BBC Wales. The crime drama follows lawyer and family woman, Faith, played by Eve Myles, as she seeks to understand the disappearance of her husband. The second series is to start filming for 18 weeks beginning Sept. 24 on location in Wales. Casting director Andy Morgan is attached but please note that the series is shot both in English and Welsh.
“The Capture”
New primetime BBC One series “The Capture” is the brainchild of writer-director Ben Chanan (“Cyberbully,” “Blackout”). A surveillance thriller set in London, it begins with the unjust arrest of an innocent man and soon escalates into a multi-layered conspiracy of manipulated evidence. Casting director Kate Rhodes James is confirmed and the series begins shooting in London in late November for 20 weeks.
“Man Like Mobeen 2”
BBC Three comedy series “Man Like Mobeen” is to return for a second season. Written and created by comedian Guz Khan and writer Andy Milligan, the first series followed Mobeen (Khan), a 29-year-old man from Small Heath, reportedly a hotbed for terrorist activity. In reality, Mobeen, like most other people in Birmingham, knows no terrorists, and spends his personal time parenting his best friends and little sister. Filming on the second series begins in October and casting is by Shaheen Baig.
