UK Now Casting: Background Artists Sought for Netflix Series + More

These projects are casting for talent in the UK right now, so sharpen your self-taping and audition skills and get busy.

Backgound talent for Netflix series

Sabell Casting is seeking male presenting background artists with shoulder length hair (and longer!) for a returning Netflix series. It shoots April to November in London, Surrey, and the South West, and is paid up to £400 per day for an estimated five days of work. Check the casting notice for more info and to apply.

Video highlighting female leadership

Matt Newport of iHasco is casting Women in Leadership, a video for an e-learning course. Three roles are available, two female and one male. It shoots 27 March in Bracknell, and pays £180 to £270 for an estimated nine hours of work, plus travel and food. Check the casting notice for more info and to apply.

Staged reading of new play

Project Wilde is casting a staged reading of a new play entitled Five Years. A range of primarily male roles are available, both lead and supporting. All are paid a flat rate of £250; the reading takes place at the Shaw Theatre in London on 16 April. Check the casting notice for more info and to apply.

Female lead for romantic drama

Casting director Scarlett Rose is seeking a female lead for Help at Home, a romantic drama short film. Megan (female, 25–35, any ethnicity) is a middle-class, highly educated woman who works as a journalist. It shoots 30 March to 3 April in London, and is paid a flat rate of £200.
