U.K. Now Casting: A London Band is Looking for Music Video Dancers + More

Move your body as a dancer in an upcoming music video! A band is currently seeking talent to join a music video for an original single, shooting in November in London. Plus, show off your musical talent in “The Darlaston Dog Fight,” perform acrobatic feats in “The Boulderers,” or play the lead in a campaign commercial.

FEMALE DANCERS FOR MUSIC VIDEO
A music video is currently in need of female dancers. Talent, aged 18–33, is wanted to join the production for an original single. Dancers will perform around the band and kiss one of the band members. The video will shoot in November in London. Pay is £120 for a four-hour shoot. Apply here!

“THE DARLASTON DOG FIGHT”
The play “The Darlaston Dog Fight” is currently seeking talent to fill out its cast for an upcoming production. Male and female actors, aged 20–69, are wanted for three supporting roles. Talent should have a genuine Black Country accent, a good singing voice, and strong experience in physical theatre and movement. Ability to play a musical instrument is a plus. Rehearsals run Feb. 19–March 21 and performances run March 22–24 at the Arena Theatre in Wolverhampton, U.K. Professional pay will be provided. Apply here!

“THE BOULDERERS
Casting is currently underway for “The Boulderers,” a “circus, dance, and theatre production telling the promenade story of three rock climbers pushing their limits, forming firm friendships, and boldly reimagining the city as the crag.” A male performer, aged 18–35, is needed for a supporting role in the production. Talent must have experience in acrobatic basing, ground-based acrobatics, gymnastics, parkour, and/or tricking, and have improvisation and partnered dance skills, as well as a passion for the outdoors. Previous experience in rock climbing and bouldering is preferred. There is an audition by appointment on Oct. 5. R&D runs Nov. 21–26 in Sheffield, U.K., followed by creation in February and March, and a performance in Barnsley, U.K. Tour runs March, April, and throughout Sheffield and Barnsley. Pay is £500 for R&D, £2,000 for creation, and TBD for performances. Apply here!

“SMALL TALK”
“Small Talk,” a commercial for the Samaritans as part of their #smalltalksaveslives campaign, is seeking talent for multiple roles. A female actor, aged 28–38, is wanted to play the lead role of Jessica. Talent must be able to portray someone with anxiety issues and deliver pre-scripted speech with raw emotion in their voice. There are also roles available for a male actor, aged 35–45, as Jessica’s life saver, and multiple background roles available for talent, aged 18–60, to portray commuters. There is an audition by appointment on Sept. 20. The production shoots Sept. 27–30 over one or two days, at Reading Station in Reading, U.K. Pay is £50–300, depending on the role. Apply here!
