DISNEYLAND PARIS OPEN AUDITIONS
Disneyland Paris is now holding open auditions for character, parade, and character lookalike performers. Talent, aged 18 and older, is wanted now. A minimum basic level of dance is required for all roles. Face characters will not be permitted to have any visual tattoos. There will be an open call in West Yorkshire on 20 January and in London on 22–23 January. Contracts begin in January and March for three months minimum in Paris. THE LION KING OPEN AUDITIONS
Exceptional male and female singers and dancers are now needed for the UK touring production of Disney musical The Lion King. Singers with strong, soulful/gospel-style voices and movement skills and dancers with a modern dance background, aged 18 or older, are wanted for the production. Acrobatic skills are a major advantage for dancers. Open calls will be held in London on 21 January and in Greater Manchester on 28 January. HEARING AID ADVERT
Casting is underway for a TV commercial advertising a hearing aid and transmitting in North Ireland. A male actor, age 50–60, is needed for the lead role in a presenter-style performance. The actor must have a Northern Irish accent and bring his own wardrobe options to the shoot. Filming will take place over one day in late January or February in Cardiff, Wales. ENTERTAINERS FOR TOUR OF CRETE
HLD Entertainment is currently seeking professionally trained dancers and singer-dancers for touring teams on the island of Crete. Talent, aged 18–40, is wanted for touring contracts. Dancers must have tap and pointe skills, as well as a high level of fitness. Fire and acrobatic skills are a plus. The seven-month contract will begin in late March in Crete, Greece.
