Vault Festival show casting in London
New play BotLove, performing at London’s Vault Festival, is casting for two actors with experience in unconventional theatre and movement. The show has a script generated by an artificial intelligence machine that has been reading romcom scripts. The team are seeking performers aged 18+, any gender and ethnicity, and are encouraging applications from people from the LGBTQ+ community. Short film seeking supporting artists
Dark comedy In Plane Sight is casting for supporting artists ahead of a shoot next year. From acclaimed director Ben Gutteridge, the film is set on a flight from the UK to Iran, and the story needs performers to play travellers from around the world on the plane. Roles are open to men and women aged 18+, and the team are especially seeking people with Middle Eastern ethnicities. The project shoots 8 January 2022 in Berkshire and roles are paid. A commercial recording on 16 December is rush casting for a female narrator, playing age 30–60, and with inspirational, confident, and exciting voice style. Short comedy Neighbourhood Watch is casting for two lead female roles in Bath and the south west. Annabel is female, playing age 25–40, and any ethnicity. Quirky, lively, self-assured, and sweetly polite, she’s recently widowed and is determined to live an exciting life now she’s alone. Simone is female, playing age 25–40, and any ethnicity. A journalist for a gossip magazine, she’s a pro at getting people to spill the beans. Both roles require people with screen and comedy experience, and the shoot is planned for late January and early February 2022 near Bath. Roles are paid.
