The Liar
This film adaptation of Stephen Fry’s acclaimed debut novel tells the story of Adrian, an ex-public schoolboy and Oxbridge graduate who excels at lying and creates a world of make-believe to entertain himself and his close friends. Starring Asa Butterfield, Tom Wilkinson, Charles Dance, David Walliams and Sally Phillips, The Liar starts shooting in summer and casting director Jina Jay is attached.

Doc Martin 9
Martin Clunes returns for a ninth series of ITV’s Cornish comedy-drama about an irascible GP with a blood phobia. This series picks up after Doc Martin has stopped practising after his blood phobia causes a disaster with a patient. Eight 30-minute episodes shoot on location in Cornwall from the end of March, with casting director Toby Whale attached.

Not Bloody Likely
From writer-director Joel Hopkins (Hampstead), Not Bloody Likely tells the incredible real-life story behind George Bernard Shaw’s play Pygmalion – later to become the popular musical My Fair Lady. Shooting on location in London from late April, casting director Elaine Grainger is confirmed and casting now.
