The episode, "Lockdown," featured the return after several months of Morrison's character, Dr. Allison Cameron, and was directed by series star Hugh Laurie. Morrison revealed that she was in New York, preparing for the opening of the Broadway revival of "The Miracle Worker," and could only come to L.A. for one day to shoot the episode.
"It was a very long, very emotional day," she noted. "But it was also one of my favorite days on set ever." Morrison praised Laurie as a director, calling him "one of the best I've ever worked with" and generous with all the actors. She can be seen next in the Lionsgate film "Warrior," due this fall.
