She’s the Cher to his Sonny, he the Jay-Z to her Beyoncé. Broadway power couple Kelli Barrett and Jarrod Spector is hitting the 54 Below stage next week, October 20–23, to put their musical marriage in the spotlight. Themselves celebrating their first year of wedded bliss, the two vocal heavyweights will be tackling music’s matrimonial duets at their cabaret “This Is Dedicated: Music’s Greatest Marriages.”
Barrett is an acclaimed Broadway vet (“Wicked,” “Baby It’s You!”)—and current Backstage Working Actor columnist—who most recently originated the leading role of Lara in “Doctor Zhivago.” Spector was nominated for a Tony Award for best featured actor in a musical as Barry Mann in “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.”
Tickets for “This Is Dedicated” are priced at $45–$50. For more information on the outing, visit 54below.com.
