Here are six chances to practice what you learned in that acting workshop all over the country!

“DEEPWATER HORIZON”
This Mark Wahlberg-starring film is in need of extras based in the New Orleans area. The film centers on the rig explosion that resulted in the worst oil spill in history. This is a paid gig!

“SLEEP HOLLOW THE MUSICAL”
Creatives are casting lead and supporting actors with singing talents as well as dancers for an original musical based on “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.”

“WICKED,” B’WAY AND NATIONAL TOUR
This Great White Way mainstay is seeking actors to play Elphaba, Glinda, the Wizard, and others to replace the shows current players. Equity auditions for the Joe Mantello-directed production are Aug. 13.

“MADAM SECRETARY”
Creatives are highering background actors for an upcoming episode of the CBS political drama “Madam Secretary.”

“THE AUDITION”
This comedic short film shooting out of Seattle is seeking supporting actors for a story based on the titular scenario they know so well. This is a paid position with rehearsals beginning in late August.

EIGHT PLAY FESTIVAL
Santa Cruz, Calif., will be hosting a theater festival made up of eight 10–minute plays and will be casting for all roles. Auditions are Sept. 20 and 21 with callbacks on Sept. 22 and 23. Some pay will be offered.
