Fantasies really do come true! Off-Broadway’s “Avenue Q,” making audiences laugh themselves to the point of tears with sardonic puppets for over a decade, is currently casting union talent for possible replacements. “AVENUE Q”
Off-Broadway’s long running comedy “Avenue Q,” which won the Best Musical Tony Award back when it opened on Broadway in 2004, is casting union talent for possible replacements. Seeking actors for roles spanning Princeton/Rod, Kate Monster/Lucy T. Slut, and Christmas Eve, the production will hold auditions at New York City’s Pearl Studios on Dec. 19.
“PARENTS’ HOUSE”
Casting is underway for three roles in “Parents’ House,” a music video for the upcoming single by indie-rock artist, Talay. A male and female actor, both ages 40–65, are sought to play the mother and father, respectively, as well as a male actor aged 18–35 to play the boyfriend. Shooting is slated for Nov. 20 in Irvington, New York.
“PARTNERS” COMMERCIAL
Talent is sought for upcoming commercial, “Partners.” A male actor aged 20–40 is needed to play the lead, as well as male and female actors for three supporting roles including an interviewee, a driver, and a police officer. Shooting will take place at to-be-determined dates in Brooklyn, New York.
“DAZZLE BEASTS”
Lead, supporting, and day player roles are sought for “Dazzle Beasts,” a short thriller depicting “a virtuous teenager gifted with dark magic.” The project, which has applied for a SAG-AFTRA Short Film Agreement, will rehearse in December and shoot the first week of January 2017 in Los Angeles, California.
