BroadwayHD and the Tony Awards are teaming up to provide unprecedented backstage access during this year’s telecast.

The streaming service will present exclusive behind-the-scenes content including first interviews with the newly-minted winners, real-time reactions as casts prepare to perform on stage, and pre-recorded content from rehearsals, among other extras.

“This partnership seemed like the perfect fit in order to continue our mission and we could not be more thrilled to provide our viewers with another unique way to experience the magic of Broadway,” BroadwayHD founders Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley said in a statement.

BroadwayHD promotes and preserves live theater offering viewers access to stream Broadway shows and performances of a similar caliber directly to their screen.

“For the first time ever, our fans—no matter where in the world they may be, whether on their couch or their mobile device—will experience intimate behind-the-scenes moments that will allow them to feel as if they are at the Beacon Theatre in New York City,” Charlotte St. Martin, president of the Broadway League, and Heather Hitchens, president of the American Theatre Wing, said in a statement.

The stream will be available on BroadwayHD.com and TonyAwards.com on June 12 at 8 p.m.

James Corden is hosting this year’s Tony Awards live from NYC’s Beacon Theatre airing on CBS.
