If you were a “Lost” fanatic from 2004 through 2010…you probably still are. And part of what made the fantasy drama such a success (other than its completely original story and insane plot twists) was its expertly cast ensemble.
The six-season show made stars out of its leads, from Jorge Garcia and Naveen Andrews to Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly (now starring in Marvel’s “Ant-Man”).
So how do you get a cast of completely diverse actors? Well, you probably audition hundreds, if not thousands. But what you end up with is something really special. While there are over a dozen “Lost” audition tapes to check out, you can see Fox’s, Lilly’s, and Garcia’s below.
One particularly weird thing: Both Garcia and Fox read for Sawyer! Imagine if it had been one of them calling Kate “Freckles” instead of Josh Holloway!
Also, get a load of that reader in Garcia’s audition! Such fervor! We have to go back…and watch that audition tape again.
