Speaking with Backstage about his work on HBO’s documentary “We Are Not Done Yet,” which follows a group of veterans and service members working through PTSD-related traumas in a United Service Organizations writing workshop at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, the Emmy winner and “Westworld” star recalls how he advised these first-time performers and artists to overcome their fears.

Here, he discusses embracing stage fright while sharing stories of his own experiences combating nerves over the years.
