A New Phoebe Waller-Bridge Amazon Series Gets the Green Light
It’s a love that will not pass between Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Amazon. The award-winning “Fleabag” creator and star has been given the go-ahead for her next big project at the studio. Details about the new project are being kept tightly under wraps, but according to Deadline, filming will begin by the end of the year. This will be the first series for Waller-Bridge under a three-year overall deal she signed with Amazon in September 2019. The multihyphenate has been busy in the meanwhile, including as the co-star opposite Harrison Ford in the next installment of the “Indiana Jones” franchise and as the co-writer on the recent James Bond pic “No Time To Die.” There’s no word yet on who will be working with Waller-Bridge on the new project; that includes whether “Fleabag” casting director Kelly Valentine Hendry will be collaborating with her again.
