These Apple TV+ and Netflix Projects Need Talent Now

From “Severance and “Ted Lasso” to “Emily in Paris” and “You,” Apple TV+ and Netflix have been on a roll with putting out funny, mysterious, and thought-provoking original shows. If you want to appear on either of these streaming services, we’ve rounded up a few gigs you can apply for right now. 

Brass Tactics” 

Brass Tactics” is the latest scripted TV series from Apple TV+. Production is casting background actors of all genders and ethnicities, aged 18 and older, who own 1995–2002 model cars; extras, aged 18–35, to play trendy hipster types; and other general background actors. Shooting dates are TBD in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Pay is a flat rate of $165–$189.

This show from Apple TV+  is seeking union and nonunion talent of all ethnicities and genders, aged 18 and older. The project will shoot in Baltimore from the end of April through November. Pay is SAG background rate if you are union, and nonunion rates if you aren’t.

Untitled Taika Waititi Animation Project

Des Hamilton Casting is a BAFTA-winning casting company that is looking for talent for Taika Waititi’s untitled animation project for Netflix. The agency’s work includes credits like “This is England” and “Jojo Rabbit.” The project is seeking a Black male lead, aged 9–12, to play a creative, expressive British Nigerian boy. Filming dates, location, and pay are TBD.
