Matt Groening’s “Futurama” made its anticipated return on Hulu this July after a decade-long hiatus. The animated sci-fi sitcom is back with 10 new episodes airing now through September and 10 more to come at a later yet-to-be-announced date. If you’re looking for your own sci-fi, comedy, or voiceover work, audition for these acting gigs today.

Untitled Space Comedy 

A sci-fi/comedy student film is casting for its August or September shoot in Wallingford, Pennsylvania. Production is looking for a lead female actor, aged 35–60, to play Eleanor, a lead male actor, aged 18–22, to play Owen, and a lead male actor, aged 35–60, to play Luke. All roles pay $15–$25 per hour for an estimated seven hours of work.

“Heart to Heart”

A sci-fi short film is casting for its August shoot in San Mateo, California. Production is looking for a lead female actor, aged 18–24, to play Rose. The role pays a flat rate of $100 for an estimated eight hours of work.

“Avarice”

A sci-fi short film is casting for its Aug. 26–Sept. 1 shoot in Vermont. Production is looking for a lead female actor, aged 25–29, to play Ethel and a lead male actor, aged 25–29, to play Mark. Both roles pay a flat rate of $300 for an estimated seven days of work.

“Robot Rael Explains His Dance Moves”

An animated short film is casting voiceover talent for its upcoming remote recording. Production is looking for an actor aged 18 and older to voice Rael the Robot. The role pays a flat rate of $400 for an estimated three hours of work. Please note that the talent must provide a voice reel and have access to high-quality recording equipment.

Comedy Webseries

A comedy series is casting voiceover talent for its upcoming remote recording. Production is looking for a male voiceover actor, aged 18–35, to play Alex and a female voiceover actor, aged 18–35, to play Jenny. The role of Alex pays a flat rate of AU$400 for an estimated four hours of work. The role of Jenny plays a flat rate of AU$100 for an estimated single hour of work. Please note that talent must provide a voice reel. Both roles also require explicit dialogue.
